Holiday Embargoes prevent staff from booking holidays on certain dates
We developed this feature in response to a request made by a school as they wanted to prevent teaching staff from being able to book holidays during term time.
Other clients of ours find this feature useful in preventing staff from booking annual leave during their busy periods, for example, in the run up to Christmas.
Managers can set holiday embargoes for individual dates or multiple dates at the same time.
Once a holiday embargo has been set, when employees try to request leave via their Personnel Dashboards they will see the dates they are unable to book off and will be prevented from booking such time off. This saves managers the job of having to decline each request individually.
